Your Sailing holiday in Sporades island: the green and the wild
Situated in the Noth East of the country we propose you a cruise in what represent probably the greenest islands in Greece, famous for dream beaches with fine withe sand and incredible clean waters. The 3 islands are also famous for their wild life, especially seals and dolphins that we might meet along the way. It will be a true sailing trip as well - as the distances between islands are generous we will sail for 4-6 hours/day. So, if you are into mastering your sailing skills, you will have plenty of opportunities. Discovering remote bays, countless baths in the sea, and the good mood are all included in the menu !

The route
Starting from Volos port, on every Saturday after 14.00, we will navigate for our first stay for the night in a Orei on Evvia island or Trikkeri on Pelion peninsula. Next day we will arrive in Skiatos, the most famous island in the archipelago.
We will allow the time to explore (its famous beaches like Koukounaires or Kastro, its vibrant city with endless pubs and restaurants)
Next we will set sail to Skopelos, a charming harbor on a charming island. Skopelos is the island worth visiting riding a scooter, the easiest way to discover all the hidden treasures.
The third island in the menu is Alonisos, where we will anchor in Chora but also explore by boat its unspoiled beauty. Just imagine a beach just for us...
The route we are proposing here is morea of a masterplan rather than a promise. When we depend on the wind to sail, we are flexible. In otther words, we will adapt our destinations and arrival time to best use the wind direction. The Capitan will make the sail plan each evening for the next day.
Is a trip focused on sailing and discovery. A the distances between destinations are generous, you will have all the time to refine your sailing skills. We will sail along the greenest islands of Greece, not very crowded and where we will have the chance to discover some of the most beautiful beaches in the World (Koukounaries, Kastro), to explore at will the island of Skopelos, to encounter again the famous Greek cusiine.
I AM INTERESTEDOur evenings
Evenings will always have their magic, but there is at least two kinds of magic. We either dock in a port or a marina for the evening and in this case we will have the freedom to explore ashore the true Greek cuisine and the party evenings. Or, we will drop our anchor in a secluded bay where we will have time to cook by our self, swim, to go ashore with our dinghy boat and party to our taste.)

While with Happy Sailing, our boat will be your home for a week! With double beds cabins, bathrooms, a small kitchen and a living room, aboard our ship you will have all the comfort you would expect from a guest house but in a narrower space. Please meet our boat - Siesta. She is a Bavaria 38 model 2003, featuring 3 cabins and one bathroom. It is plenty of room for 6 persons. It can be rented with or without a skipper. Eating in a tavern or restaurant in a port is an experience by its own. And if you have tasted Greek cuisine already, you know what we mean. And if you didn't, then expect fresh fish and sea food, expect everything to have a great taste and expect you to want more.
In the same time we will cook on the boat ! In the mornings a quick breakfast, our lunches too, but also some of the evenings when we will stay at anchor. So, don't forget to bring along your cooking skills or be ready to participate in cooking together.)
